Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white sugar
3 egg yolks
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. flour
1/4 c. boiling water
3 egg whites, beaten
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. soda
1 c. cake flour
2 sq. chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together and add egg yolks; beat. Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Sift cake flour and regular flour. Add the flour and the buttermilk alternately to the sugar, butter and egg mixture.
Mix well.
Melt chocolate in boiling water; stir until chocolate is all melted, then add to cake mixture.
Add vanilla and mix well.
And lastly, add the egg whites.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
This makes 1 large cake or 2 squares.
