Easy Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can tomato paste
    2 or 3 cans diced green chiles
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 lb. Longhorn or Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 small pkg. tortilla chips, slightly crushed
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oleo.
    Remove from the pan, brown meat and drain.
    Stir in onion, garlic, soup, tomato sauce and paste, chiles and salt.
    Cook until mixture begins to boil.
    Place 3/4 of chips in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch or 10 x 10-inch pan.
    Pour meat mixture over chips.
    Top with remaining chips and cheese. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serve with sour cream, if desired.
