Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 c. finely grated carrots
1/2 c. chopped nuts or raisins (optional) or 8 oz. crushed pineapple
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in mixer bowl or processor bowl.
Add oil, eggs and carrots and mix well.
Add nuts, raisins or pineapple, if desired.
Pour into greased and lightly floured 13 x 9-inch pan or two 9-inch layer pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes and test.
Cool cake and frost.
