Fruit-Scented Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. alum or cream of tartar
    1 (0.3 oz.) pkg. sugar free jello mix*
    1 c. boiling water
    4 tsp. oil
    few drops of food coloring (same color as jello, optional)
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix flour, salt and alum (or cream of tartar). In small bowl, combine boiling water, jello, oil and food color (if desired).
    Add to flour mixture, stirring constantly.
    Cool to room temperature; knead thoroughly on lightly floured surface until dough is smooth.
    Store in airtight container.
