Grillades(Marinated Steaks) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak
salt and red pepper to taste
1/2 c. oil
1 large chopped onion
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
hot sauce to taste
Preparation

Cut round steak into serving pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Add steaks to hot oil in a heavy skillet to brown.
Do not turn over until you can see brown from sides.
Then turn over and brown other side.
Add onions and bell pepper.
Cover lightly and lower fire; simmer about 45 minutes or until tender.
Add hot sauce and serve over rice or grits.
