Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. water
1 qt. vinegar
1 c. salt
1 head dill (to qt.)
1 clove garlic (to qt.)
alum (just add small bit)
1 hot red pepper
Preparation

Put dill, garlic, pepper and alum in a jar.
Pack in cucumbers.
Heat liquid and pour over cucumbers and seal.
If you have any liquid left, save for the next time.
