Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    In skillet, put 1/2 cup sugar; melt and brown.
    In saucepan, bring 3 cups sugar and water to boil.
    Pour in slowly the browned sugar, stirring all the time.
    Add pecans, vanilla and 1 teaspoon butter.
    Cook to soft ball stage (not over).
    Cool and beat until creamy.
    Drop by tablespoon on foil paper.
