Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cups sugar
3 cups plain flour
2/3 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup Crisco
2 sticks real butter
1 cup milk
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 cup chopped black walnuts
Preparation

Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time. Add milk and flour, alternating.
Add vanilla and black walnuts. Bake in tube pan at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
