Ingredients

3 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
1 1/2 c. water
14 packets Equal (to equal 2 tsp. sugar each)
2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
Preparation

Put cranberries and water in a large pot and place on stove on \"high\" until the berries pop.
If they don't all pop, use a potato masher to crush the ones that did not pop.
(Use pot lid while cooking.)
Then cook over a low heat for about 20 minutes without lid.
Start the timing when the berries start to cook, not when you put the pot on the burner.
When cooked for 20 minutes, add 14 packets of Equal sweetener (each packet to equal 2 teaspoons sugar) and 2 packages of unflavored, unsweetened gelatin that has been softened in cold water and then melted over hot water.
Stir this in and put mixture in containers.
Keep in refrigerator.
Use as regular cranberry relish.
Serves 4 to 6.
