Roast Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 rump roast
    1 c. beef consomme
    1 c. water
    sliced carrots to taste
    2 to 3 potatoes
    2 whole onions
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown all sides of roast in Dutch oven. Add beef consomme and water. Add bay leaf on top of roast. Cook in covered Dutch oven for several hours until meat shreds easily when cut across the grain of meat.
