Cranberry Claret Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. Claret wine
    4 c. fresh cranberries
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    2 Tbsp. butter
    9-inch pie pastry
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients; stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
    Add the fresh cranberries; cook slowly until all the skins pop open.
    Add grated lemon peel.
    Pour into 9-inch pie shell.
    Dot with butter.
    Top with crisscross strips of pastry. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
