Beth'S Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. Crisco (butter flavor)
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    12 oz. bag mini chocolate chips (use 1/2 bag only)
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs, beating well after each one. Measure dry ingredients together and add flour mixture, alternating with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Add chocolate chips and nuts, mixing well with a wooden spoon.
    Spray tube pan with Pam. Put into a cold oven and bake for 90 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
