Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium cooking apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. hot water
1/4 c. margarine
3/4 c. quick oats
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
Place apples in pan.
Mix corn syrup and hot water; pour over apples.
Mix together margarine, oats, brown sugar, flour and salt until crumbs form. Stir in pecans.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 45 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
