Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
5 eggs
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
3 c. plain flour (Swans Down)
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Cream butter and shortening together.
Add sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients together, including cocoa.
Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla.
