Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. bread, broken up
    4 c. milk, scalded
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Scald milk with butter.
    Mix and pour in 15 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, with pan of water beneath dish, for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
    May serve with ice cream.
