Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. celery
    3/4 c. onions
    3/4 c. cooked pork or chicken
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. fat
    soy sauce
    1 can bean sprouts
    1 small can mushrooms
Preparation
    Cut celery in 1-inch pieces.
    Slice onions 1/4-inch thick; cut chicken in 1-inch bites. Cook celery, onion, seasonings, fat and meat covered over low flame for 1 hour. Add soy sauce, mushrooms and bean sprouts. Serve with rice. For Chow Mein, serve on crisp Chinese noodles. Serves 4 to 6.
