Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together and mix with drained fruit cocktail.
Add vanilla to well beaten egg.
Fold egg into first mixture and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle mixture over the top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Better when served warm with whipped cream.
