Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cream-style corn
    4 to 6 oz. grated cheese
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 pods hot pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Mix all but cheese. Pour half in a greased pan.
    Spread cheese over top and then cover with rest of the mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
    (I usually double this recipe for a 9 x 13-inch pan and I mix the cheese up in the whole mixture.)
