Cocktail Meatballs - cooking recipe

1 pt. sour cream
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 c. water
Preparation

Mix sour cream and onion soup mix. Measure out 1 cup and mix with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, nutmeg and allspice. Form into small balls and dust with flour. Brown on cookie sheet in 450\u00b0 oven. Mix remaining sour cream-onion soup mixture with water. Put meatballs in chafing dish or crock-pot and cover with this mixture. Serve hot.
