1 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. orange juice
2 (6 oz.) boxes dates
2 c. nuts
1 bottle cherries
1 orange rind, grated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix and bake in tube pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
