Tomato Juice Cocktail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 gal. quartered tomatoes
    1 c. sugar
    scant salt
    4 or 5 hot peppers
    3 sweet peppers
    4 large onions
    2 celery stems
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook together until tender; run through juicer.
    Return to vessel and cook more.
    Add 1/2 cup vinegar, then put into jars. Water bath for 10 minutes.
