Peas And Knepp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    6 c. fresh peas
    butter
Preparation
    Combine
    flour, baking powder and salt; cut in shortening and blend in milk.
    Place peas in large pot and add enough water to cover peas.
    Cook about 10 minutes.
    Drop knepp dough by teaspoon onto
    top of the boiling peas.
    Cook on low for 10 minutes, uncovered.\tThen
    cover
    with
    lid\tand
    cook 10 more minutes; drop a pat of butter on top.
