Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 qt. strawberries
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Wash berries and drain.
Place berries in baked pie shell. Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and salt.
Cook slowly until glossy.
Pour hot mixture over berries.
Place in refrigerator and chill before serving.
Top with whipped cream.
