Pumpkin Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix (without pudding)
    1 (26 to 28 oz.) can pumpkin
    4 eggs
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Blend margarine and cake mix.
    Reserve 1 cup for topping.
    Pat the rest into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine the pumpkin, eggs, sugar, milk, salt and spices.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour over cake mix in pan.
