Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can warm beer (12 oz.)
    3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. sugar
    shortening
    melted butter
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with shortening.
    Mix ingredients in large bowl.
    Batter will foam up.
    Pour into pan and quickly top with some melted butter.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 60 minutes. Serve while warm.
