Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. enriched flour
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth or 2 bouillon cubes in 1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 c. cooked English peas
    1 (3 oz.) can broiled, sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 cooked medium sized carrots, cut in 1/3
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. pimiento
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small pkg. refrigerator biscuits
Preparation
    Melt butter; blend in flour.
    Add broth; cook and stir until thick.
    Add meat, vegetables and salt.
    Heat to bubbling; pour in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Cut biscuits in quarters.
    Arrange in a ring, rounded side down on top of hot chicken.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are done.
    Makes 5 servings.
