Mississippi Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    3 sticks butter
    1 box raisins (optional)
    2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg or 1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Combine ingredients to create a biscuit-like batter.
    Roll batter with rolling pin until batter is 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut oval shapes any size you wish and bake at 325\u00b0 until done (12 minutes). Makes one batch.
