Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. stewing beef
    1 chopped onion
    2 large cans chop suey vegetables
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    cornstarch
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Cut stewing beef in small pieces. Brown with onion in a little water. Add water to cover it or half a pan.
    Let simmer for 3 hours. Add vegetables and 1/2 cup soy sauce.
    Mix cornstarch with cold water.
    Add to meat and vegetable mixture, stirring constantly.
    Let simmer 1/2 hour.
    Serve with rice.
