Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped steak
    1 tsp. salt
    freshly ground pepper
    1/2 c. cream
    fresh bread crumbs
    1 tsp. oil
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix the steak, seasonings and cream; form in patties.
    Coat with crumbs.
    Pan-broil in heavy oiled skillet, turning often. Remove to heated platter.
    Add water; season with salt and pepper. Bring to boil; scrape.
    Add butter; pour over steaks.
    Serves 2.
