Ingredients

2 lb. round steak (purchase as thin as possible)
salt and pepper
flour
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 c. water
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
hot buttermilk biscuits
Preparation

Cut the steak into serving size pieces.
If cut is not very thin, pound lightly.
Season with salt and pepper.
Dredge with flour, shaking off the excess.
