Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. chocolate bits
    1 c. butterscotch bits
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in large pan.
    Cook over low heat until a slight boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in peanut butter. Add Rice Krispies.
    Press into greased 9 x 13-inch pan (use wax paper to press evenly and smoothly).
    Melt bits in double boiler; stir until blended.
    Spread over Rice Krispies mixture. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
    Remove; wait about 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
    Cut into bars.
