Bacon And Cheese Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 baked 9-inch pie crust
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 c. milk, scalded
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    8 slices fried bacon
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until golden.
    Spoon into pie crust. Sprinkle onion with cheese.
    Combine milk and eggs.
    Add salt, pepper and thyme.
    Pour into crust.
    Crumble 2 pieces of bacon and sprinkle over pie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
    Garnish with remaining bacon pieces.
