Chinese Pork With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef
    2 Tbsp. salad oil or fat
    1 beef cube
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. thin sliced carrots
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. french cut green beans
    2 c. chopped celery
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/3 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    cooked rice
    soy sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Cut meat into strips 2 to 3 inches long and brown in skillet. Turn occasionally.
    While meat is browning, dissolve 1 beef cube into boiling water and salt.
    Add bouillon to meat; over that put carrots and beans.
    Cook 5 minutes; add celery.
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
    Measure cornstarch and add cold water and 1 tablespoon soy sauce.
    Stir until well mixed and smooth.
    Then stir into meat mixture.
    Cook for 2 minutes.
    Serve over cooked rice.
    Add soy sauce, if desired.
