Country Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage
1 small onion
1 green pepper
salt and pepper
8 oz. water
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
3 Tbsp. bacon grease
Preparation

Cut cabbage in 1/2-inch strips, wash thoroughly.
Cut onion and pepper in medium-size slices.
Combine water and bacon grease in a large pot; add cabbage, onion and green pepper.
Simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes.
Add salt, pepper and lemon pepper seasoning to taste.
Simmer until tender.
