Velvet Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. white Karo
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Melt butter; add cocoa, Karo and salt.
    Mix sugar and milk; add to butter and cocoa.
    Mix well and cook to soft ball stage when tried in cold water.
    Let cool.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Work with hands if necessary.
    Shape into roll and slice.
