Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. chopped ripe tomatoes
    2 c. chopped bell peppers
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine chopped vegetables, salt and sugar; simmer until mixture starts to thicken.
    Then add vinegar and spices and cook down until it becomes a thick sauce.
    Pour into hot, sterilized jars.
    Boil in jars for 15 minutes.
    This makes 3 quarts.
