Grandma'S Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 box vanilla wafers
    5 medium, ripe bananas
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, 1/2 cup sugar, egg yolks and milk.
    Cook on very low fire or in top of double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla extract.
    (Microwave works very well. Cook until boiling, stirring often.)
