Carrots And Rutabaga - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 rutabaga, peeled and diced
    8 carrots, peeled and diced
    1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper or to taste
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Cook rutabaga and carrots in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain.
    Mash a little.
    Add butter and seasonings.
