Tuna Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. (3 1/2 c.) medium noodles
    1 (6 1/2 to 9 oz.) can tuna
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. celery, diced
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese (optional)
    1/2 c. slivered almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling salt water until tender; drain. Combine noodles, drained tuna, mayonnaise, vegetables and salt. Blend soup and milk; heat thoroughly.
    Add cheese; heat and stir until cheese melts.
    Add to noodle mixture.
    Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with almonds.
    Bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) about 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
    You may skip some of the ingredients if you wish.
    I add some green peas.
