Red Pepper Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. red peppers
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Chop peppers fine (you may use blender).
    Sprinkle with salt and let stand 3 to 4 hours. Rinse well and cover with sugar and vinegar.
    Boil slowly until thick, stirring often.
    Makes 4 to 5 glasses.
    Using Certo makes it easier and faster.
    You may use food coloring to add desired color.
