Cinnamon Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
1 1/3 c. apple pie filling, coarsely chopped or 1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen apple chunks, thawed
1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation

Melt butter in a 7 x 11-inch baking dish. Set aside. Cook granulated sugar and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar melts. Set aside.
