Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 can Spam or similar canned meat, cut into 1 x 1/2-inch pieces
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium-wide egg noodles
    1 (No. 2) can red kidney beans, drained
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. sliced whole mushrooms or 1 c. pieces and stems
    ??? c. chopped green pepper
    1/3 tsp. salt
    ??? twists of pepper mill or 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
    1 tsp. Accent
    1 c. tomato sauce
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Saute the hamburger until it is separated into pieces about the size of pecans and slightly browned.
    Then combine it and all the other ingredients in a 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    The noodles are put into this mixture just as they come from the package, no precooking.
