Apple Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 beaten egg
    4 large apples, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Spread sliced apples in baking pan and cover with mixture.
    Sprinkle with spices and 2 more tablespoons of sugar.
    Dot with butter, then sprinkle water over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cook a few minutes longer, if needed.
