Sweet And Savory Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
1/4 c. fine chopped onion
1 small clove garlic (optional)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 can golden mushroom soup, rinse can
1/2 c. drained chopped tomatoes
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce
dash of pepper
cooked rice
Preparation

Mix beef, crumbs, onion, garlic and egg.
Shape into small meat balls.
Brown in shortening; pour off excess grease.
Add remaining ingredients except rice.
Cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until meat is done, stirring occasionally.
Serve over rice.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
