Pork Chop Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    6 pork chops
    salt and pepper
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    3/4 c. water
    6 potatoes, peeled and quartered
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
Preparation
    Heat shortening in large skillet or electric frypan.
    Brown chops on both sides.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add bouillon cube dissolved in water.
    Place potatoes on top of chops.
    Cover tightly; reduce heat and cook 45 minutes.
