Death By Chocolate - cooking recipe

8 Heath candy bars
1 (19 or 21 oz.) box brownie mix, baked by pkg. directions for cake-like brownies
2 (3.5 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding, prepared
1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 jar stemmed red maraschino cherries (for decoration)
Preparation

Crumble candy bars with a rolling pin or in a food processor. Set a few crumbled pieces aside for garnish.
In a large glass or trifle bowl, break half of the brownies in pieces and place in bottom of bowl.
Cover the brownies with half of the prepared pudding, half of the crumbled candy pieces and half of the whipped topping; repeat.
Decorate with a few candy pieces and stemmed red cherries.
Serves 20 to 24 ladies or 10 to 12 men.
