Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. white Karo
1/4 c. water
2 egg whites
3 heaping Tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook sugar, Karo and water together until it spins a thread. Beat the egg whites stiff.
Pour cooked mixture over eggs slowly, beating constantly.
When stiff, add powdered sugar and vanilla. The powdered sugar is the secret to success in this icing.
