Very Good Cereal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    8 c. Golden Grahams cereal
    3 c. mini-marshmallows
Preparation
    Butter 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Heat corn syrup, butter and chocolate chips to boiling in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour over cereal in a large mixing bowl.
    Toss quickly until completely coated. Fold in marshmallows, one cup at a time.
    Press mixture evenly into a pan with a buttered-back spoon.
    Let stand until firm, at least one hour.
    Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
    Store loosely covered at room temperature.
    Makes 48 squares.
