Spanish Pintos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pinto beans
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. shortening or bacon drippings
    1 can tomato sauce, paste or catsup
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Soak and cook beans until tender, then add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer slowly a few minutes and serve hot.
