Sawmill Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. hot country sausage
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings and return to pan.
    Blend in flour to make roux.
    Add milk and blend until smooth.
    Add sausage and bring back to boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes.
    Serve over baking powder biscuits.
